Yasmin Chilton
Government and Community Affairs Manager
Yasmin serves as the Government and Community Affairs Manager at The Port. In this role, she is responsible for engaging stakeholders, managing events, and monitoring community and legislative affairs to inform the organization’s strategies. Her primary focus is on managing public affairs, fostering relationships, and enhancing The Port’s influence within the Greater Cincinnati region.
Before joining The Port, Yasmin spent five years in Mayor John Cranley’s administration, where she led public affairs, communications, and events. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Cincinnati (UC), as well as a public relations certificate and a master’s degree in communications from UC.
Yasmin is also a dedicated community leader and YWCA Rising Stars graduate. She serves on the boards of King Records Legacy and the Queen City Book Bank, where she supports local music preservation and literacy. As a Team Lead for Adopt A Class, she mentors young students, fostering leadership and growth.
