Kelley Allesee
Senior Real Estate Counsel
Kelley is Senior Real Estate Counsel at The Port, supporting the Hamilton County Landbank in its efforts to rehab and reutilize vacant and abandoned property to the fullest and best use. Kelley evaluates properties for acquisition, supports acquisition and disposition of Landbank properties, and prepares contracts and other legal documents to fully implement the tools of the Landbank. As a member of The Port’s legal team, Kelley assists with contracts for the agency as well as the entities it manages, and provides oversight for contract compliance.
Kelley worked as assistant city solicitor for the City of Cincinnati. In that role, she was a member of the Quality of Life Division for the Solicitor, tasked with ensuring best possible outcomes for unproductive and distressed properties on behalf of the City. A passionate advocate for diversity and giving back to the community, Kelley has volunteered as a hot-line attorney for Pro-Seniors to support individuals of all backgrounds and demographics on issues like landlord/tenant relations, and a variety of other legal issues. Kelley earned her Juris Doctorate from Chase College of Law and BA in Education from Morehead State University.
Kelley serves on the Grievance Committee for the Cincinnati Bar Association (CBA) and is the Secretary of the Real Property Law Practice Group. She is also an alumna of the CBA’s 2020 Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers, Class 24.
