Request for Proposals: Care Homes Renovations Round 12

Due Date: March 4, 2024

In 2022, The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority purchased 194 single-family homes from an out-of-town investor with the goal of promoting home ownership.  To date, nearly forty homes have been selected for renovations in neighborhoods throughout Hamilton County. To accomplish this goal, these properties will need to be restored and sold to individual owner/occupiers.  Attached is a request for proposal for general contractors to rehabilitate four properties in different neighborhoods. Section 5 of the RFP describes the general scope of work and standards for all homes, while section 6 lists specific details and requests for individual properties.  The address of each property, as well as a link to the auditor’s page, is included in the RFP.

Funding for these projects requires the work to be completed by EPA Certified RRP Contractors.  Information about this program can be found here.

This RFP round will have a site walk-thru for each property.  A representative from each general contractor is strongly recommended to attend.  The goal for each walk-thru is to access existing conditions and explore the scope of work.  See table below for dates and times of each site visit.
