Luke Herrmann
Senior Development Associate
Luke joined The Port in 2021 as a Landbank Associate and was promoted to Senior Development Associate in 2024. In this role, he manages applications for vacant parcels and buildings, guiding applicants through the process, tracks property tax foreclosures, monitors sheriff sales, and conducts research on tax-delinquent properties. He also plays a key role in ensuring post-closing compliance.
Before joining The Port, Luke gained valuable experience working in code enforcement for Colerain Township. He is also an alum of Public Allies, an AmeriCorps program, where he partnered with St. Vincent de Paul to provide rent and utility assistance to those impacted by COVID-19 and other crises. His earlier career includes co-op roles with the City of Kettering, Ohio, and Kenton County, Kentucky’s Planning and Development Services Department.
Luke holds a bachelor’s degree in urban planning from the University of Cincinnati. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through running, cycling, and gym sessions, as well as exploring new experiences such as attending concerts, traveling, and trying out new restaurants.
